Hoolie In The Hall 2 Smashes All Expectations!
Following the huge success of Hollie In The Halll last September, Lynne Goodwin and The Smugglers Inn gave the people of Stewarton round two of this Rip Roaring Evening Of The Best Music. All in aid of Yorkhill Children’s Charity, once again it sold out featuring performances from- All Girl drummers – Sum Wummin Drummin, 50’s Rock N Roll smasher – Ziggi Battles, The Miles Goodwin Scottish and Irish Allstars and special guests fresh from Celtic Connections, the brilliant Have Mercy Las Vegas.
A packed Annick Commnity centre was rocked to it’s very core with cracking auction prizes ranging from signed goodies from the likes of Sharleen Spiteri,The Vamps, Stereophonics and even Masters Champion Ronnie O’Sullivan donated his signed cueball from the masters! Signed Box Sets, Football Tops, Holidays,, Artwork, Nights in Hotels and fine dining were all bidded on with amazing generosity.
The event raised £3,861.62 which Yorkhill children’s charity are giving to the wards that are treating our niece Jaimie Gilchrist aged 12 as she was diagnosed with hodgkins lymphoma in January. She was allowed an evening pass in middle of treatment to attend for an 1 hr where she was overwhelmed at the support for her and her family.
