Kilmaurs Gala 5K – 26th July – great turnout of almost 300 runners

1st – Robert Gilroy  (Cambuslang Harriers)- 15min 45.4 Secs

2nd – Jack Arnold – 16.10

3rd – Gavin Hogarth – 16.39


1st Female – Elspeth Curran (Kilbarchan AAA) – 17.29

2nd – Laura Wallace (Ayr Seaforth) – 18.54

3rd – Mhairi Douglas – 19.13


Bowling Night at Kilmaurs Glencairn Bowling Club – Monday 31st July where a fun night was had by all!


Gala Treasure Hunt with 29 cars taking part – Tues 1st  Aug

Wednesday 2nd Aug – New event – Children’s Entertainer – Uncle Billy – kept over 60 children entertained for the afternoon


Thursday – 3rd Aug – Quiz Night  – well supported

Friday 4th Aug-Come Wine with Us in the Stag and Thistle Kilmaurs – over 30 people learning about different wines and accompaniments


Gala Day – Sunday 6th August, 2017 – The Gala Day although held in Morton Park for the first time in 3 years, the rain made it’s appearance and the Crowning Ceremony was held in St Maur’s Glencairn Parish Church.

Although wet, we still had a successful Gala Day with everyone enjoying themselves.
