Manna’s Community Christmas Lunch

Don’t be alone this Christmas

We at Manna Coffee Shop are planning to open our doors for a period of time on Christmas Day (12-4), to serve up free Christmas Dinner to the folks of the Town who may be alone or are feeling isolated on this very special day. This is something that is very close to our hearts and we are delighted with the response of the local community who have donated various items to help us make this event happen. We have been inundated with requests to help from local people and businesses since we first made everyone aware of our plans. The kindness and generosity from the people in the town has been incredible and we want to thank each and every person who will be involved in making this such a special day.

If you know someone who you think could be in this position on Christmas Day please reach out to them and tell them about us. We want to make everyone feel relaxed and comfortable when they come down to spend Christmas with us. If you are reading this article and feel shy or embarrassed about attending the event, we will welcome you with open arms, this is about everyone in the community coming together to make sure we all enjoy Christmas Day together.

We will be leaving information cards in Manna’s, Coffee Pot, The Chip Box and Stewarton Medical Centre so that anyone who wishes to attend can fill in name, address, contact number or email. The reason we need your information is, so we know how much food and drink will have to be prepared on the day. If you need transport down to Manna’s please just let us know and we will arrange this for you.

We are based at 6B Hight Street Stewarton, between the Village Balti House and The Factory Shop.
