The Potters House
In 2001 a group of people met together to start a new church in Stewarton. Led by Gary and Hazel Breaks, this church has become known as “The Potters House” and has, over the last 13 years, grown into a solid and stable church of all ages from children to grandparents and everyone in between, and from all kinds of backgrounds.
The church now meets in the Stewarton Area Centre every Sunday at 11am and offers vibrant contemporary music with a band of dynamic musicians and informal, down to earth, real life messages.
Over the years the church has developed a strong focus on children, youth and young adults who make up nearly 50% of the church. Children meet in a “Children’s Church” each Sunday and mid-week the church runs a mentoring program to help equip and release children with musical talents. The church also runs an annual summer youth camp for ages 11 to 18 which brings to Scotland a team of young people from the USA and youth from Europe and all over the UK.
The camp this year runs from 13 – 18 July at Lapwing Lodge near Paisley and costs £100.00. For more information or to book for the camp, please visit our website
Two youth groups also run each week as well as mid-week groups for adults. The church also has started a Christmas food parcel service which has been growing each year. Please join us on a Sunday morning when you will be assured of a warm welcome.
