Stewarton Cubs

On a very wet and windy July day the A group of Stewarton Cubs braved the weather to take part in a day trip to the national air show at the National Museum of Flight in North Berwick. Despite appalling weather and the cancellation of air displays there were a whole host of activities for them to enjoy in the hangars from interactive displays where they could test their reflexes and make their own airplane to seeing retired fighter jets and Concorde. Their excursion aboard a Brittle airways Concorde was definitely a highlight as was meeting a retired first officer for the plane.

This trip marks the end of the Cub’s air activities badge which they have been working on over the last few months and we look forward to a similarly action packed programme on our return in August.
